About this role
This Document Control Summer Intern role at the Phillips 66 Borger Refinery supports document conversion and document management under a Project Manager. The intern helps scan and verify converted documents and updates mechanical drawings using computer-aided design software.
Key Responsibilities
- Document conversion including sorting, shipping, and scanning
- Digital verification of document conversions via computer
- Document management, utilizing computer-aided design software to update mechanical drawings
- Follow supervisors’ instructions and complete assigned tasks
- Provide organized independent support in a team environment
Technical Overview
The technical scope centers on document conversion (sorting, shipping, scanning) and digital verification of conversions via computer. It also includes document management tasks such as using computer-aided design software to update mechanical drawings, with preferred exposure to Microsoft Suite products.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a current student pursuing an Associate's degree in a technical field with a valid driver's license and the ability to work at least eight continuous weeks. They are organized and detail-oriented, can independently support document conversion and document management tasks, and have working knowledge of computer-aided design software and optionally Microsoft Suite products.
