About this role

As a 2026 Borger Refinery Process Data Summer Intern, you support the maintenance of refinery systems and help organize and clean process data using Excel and Visual Basic (VB). You will ensure critical instruments are accurately added to the system, download data for craftsperson use, and provide training/support to team members.

Utilize Excel and Visual Basic (VB) or other programming languages to expedite data cleanup and organization
Ensure all critical instruments are accurately added to the system

Technical Overview

This is a data-focused internship centered on system support, data cleanup, and data organization for refinery process data. The technical work uses Excel and Visual Basic (VB) to expedite tasks and supports data integration by collaborating with the team.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, with intermediate Excel skills and beginner Visual Basic (VB) experience. They are organized, can work independently and in a team, and can support system maintenance, data cleanup, and data downloads for critical instruments. The candidate is available for at least eight continuous weeks and can work extended hours as needed.
