About this role
Northrop Grumman is seeking an IT Project Management Intern in Redondo Beach, CA. The role supports enterprise IT project management within the Enterprise Services Group, working toward delivering IT projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads and directs one or more project teams engaged in IT projects across functional organizations
- Prepares project execution plan and identifies resources
- Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meet technical requirements
- Ensures compliance with security and program requirements
- Supports Enterprise Services Group initiatives
Technical Overview
Intern will gain exposure to IT infrastructures (networking, servers, storage) and project execution, using Microsoft Office tools and JIRA for planning and tracking; requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a motivated IT project management intern pursuing a STEM degree, with strong MS Office and JIRA familiarity, and the ability to work in an onsite defense environment while maintaining eligibility for a security clearance.
