About this role
Seasonal Summer Associate position supporting Procurement Operations during summer. The role applies industrial engineering and Lean Six Sigma principles to analyze the PRF workflow and recommend improvements to reduce cycle time and variability while increasing throughput and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in baselining and measuring the current PRF
- Analyze how work moves through the PRF process
- Identify drivers of long cycle times and variation
- Recommend data-informed process improvements
- Support creation of a data-backed PRF workflow baseline
Technical Overview
Focuses on workflow analysis of the Procurement Request Form (PRF) process, measuring and baselining current performance, and using data-informed methods to identify drivers of long cycle times and variation. Produces a PRF workflow baseline and recommendations grounded in industrial/process engineering concepts.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a college student with exposure to industrial engineering and Lean Six Sigma process improvement methods. They can support analysis of Procurement Request Form (PRF) workflow, identify drivers of long cycle times and variation, and help produce a data-backed baseline to improve throughput and predictability.
