About this role
Account Director focused on Government travel programs for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts; develops strategic account plans, drives revenue growth in government and infrastructure segments, and manages relationships with agencies, contractors, and TMC partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for large government accounts
- Lead strategy for Government segment accounts including federal agencies and TMCs
- Drive participation and share growth within Preferred programs by aligning hotel partners with compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Sales Ops, Sales Development, Sales Specialists, and Marketing to drive sales execution
- Manage day-to-day Government and Infrastructure account customers and provide guidance
Technical Overview
CRM and government sales tech stack including Salesforce.com and CVENT; governance and reporting to support government program participation; ability to translate policy changes into sales strategy.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior, government-focused sales leader with 6+ years of experience selling to federal agencies and infrastructure accounts, a proven track record hitting a $25M+ quota, and strong ability to translate policy into strategic account plans.
