About this role
PayTrace is hiring a remote Account Executive focused on expanding revenue by developing integrated referral relationships across business software and e-commerce verticals. The role drives new merchant processing business, negotiates contracts and pricing, and ensures merchants are activated to support quota attainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop prospects for e-commerce, mobile, tablet, and POS payment solutions; Acquire new payment business through partnerships and exceed revenue quotas; Procure processing business from leads and generated sales; Negotiate contracts, set pricing, and ensure merchant activation for new business; Develop integrated referral relationships to drive revenue growth
Technical Overview
The role is sales-focused within payments/merchant services, involving omnichannel payment solutions for e-commerce, mobile, tablet, and POS. It includes coordinating integration-oriented referral channels and working with processing business acquisition and merchant activation workflows.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in payments or merchant services sales with a demonstrated track record of success, along with strong B2B selling skills. They are comfortable building integrated referral relationships, driving new business to quotas, negotiating contracts and pricing, and activating merchants. They may also bring ERP or software integration sales experience to stand out.
