About this role
The Account Manager maintains and retains existing commercial and industrial waste customers in an assigned territory while increasing penetration within the customer base. The role includes Salesforce-based activity tracking, contract re-signs, and responding to cancellation requests according to the escalation policy.

- Maintain and retain existing customers through long-term relationships
- Build knowledge of services, pricing structures, and offers
- Perform contractual re-signs to extend customer relationships
- Respond to cancellation requests per escalation policy
- Use Salesforce daily to schedule and document customer activities
Technical Overview
The role is not a software engineering position. It requires daily Salesforce usage for scheduling and documenting customer calls, meetings, and proposals, plus tracking retention activities and customer relationship status.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level Account Manager with at least 1 year of relevant sales experience and a valid driver's license. They can use Salesforce daily to manage customer activities, retain commercial and industrial waste customers, and grow account penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.
