This Account Manager role focuses on maintaining and retaining existing commercial and industrial waste customers while expanding account penetration. It includes Salesforce-based activity tracking, contract re-signs, and responding to cancellation requests in line with the escalation policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and retain existing customers through long-term relationships
- Maintain knowledge of services, pricing structures, and offers
- Execute contractual re-signs to extend customer relationships
- Respond to cancellation requests aligned with escalation policy
- Use Salesforce daily to schedule and document customer activities
Technical Overview
The technical emphasis is on Salesforce usage for daily scheduling and documentation of calls, meetings, and proposals. The role also tracks customer retention metrics and key relationship status for weekly review with a Sales Manager.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level sales professional with at least 1 year of relevant sales experience and a valid driver's license, ready to manage a territory of commercial and industrial waste customers. They will proactively retain and grow accounts using daily Salesforce activity logging, manage renewals, and increase penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.
