About this role
Amazon is seeking an Account Manager to grow relationships with startups and drive revenue for Amazon Web Services. The role centers on customer success, sales quota attainment, and coordinated go-to-market strategies, with particular attention to AI/ML, serverless, and IoT trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer success with early and mid stage startups
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
- Accelerate customer adoption through service adoption
- Lead go-to-market execution in partnership with business development, marketing, solution architecture and partner teams
- Define executive relationship strategy and build relationships with AWS senior leadership team
Technical Overview
While primarily a sales role, this position requires familiarity with AI/ML, serverless, and IoT technologies used by startup customers on AWS. You will coordinate across solution architecture and partner teams to accelerate service adoption and execution of sales plays.
