About this role
Lead end-to-end customer programs for strategic Calix customers, owning execution from goals and success criteria through delivery cadence and measurable outcomes. Act as primary customer point of contact, drive risk/issue management, and deliver crisp executive updates across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own customer programs end to end with clear goals and success criteria
- Build and maintain integrated program plans including scope, schedule, dependencies, and milestones
- Run delivery cadence (standups, checkpoints, executive reviews) and remove blockers
- Define and report PMO metrics/KPIs for delivery health and customer outcomes
- Own program risk and issue management, including mitigation plans and escalations
Technical Overview
This is a customer-facing program management role spanning product, engineering, operations, and GTM. Focuses on PMO metrics/KPIs, operating cadence, integrated program planning (scope/schedule/dependencies/milestones), and governance through escalations, risk mitigation, and executive reviews.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior program manager with 7+ years leading complex, cross-functional, customer-facing programs delivering enterprise software and/or hardware. They are PMP-certified and experienced building end-to-end operating cadences, owning scope/schedule/risk, and providing executive-ready reporting while driving stakeholder engagement and change management.
