About this role
HF Sinclair is seeking an Accountant based in Artesia, NM to perform basic to moderately complex accounting and treasury assignments under direct supervision. The role supports reporting, data maintenance, analyses, and routine audits while adhering to accounting policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accounting statements and reports
- Maintain accounting files and data on a periodic basis
- Assist with gathering, analysis, and interpretation of data for projects
- Perform routine audits and assigned analyses
- Enter assigned data into system and coordinate accounting activities
Technical Overview
This is an accounting-focused position requiring proficiency with Microsoft products and accounting software, along with entry-level understanding of accounting practices and procedures. Preferred experience includes revenue accounting, accounts payable, and working with SAP FI/CO, SAP BI, and Coupa.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and foundational knowledge of accounting practices and procedures. They can prepare accounting statements and reports, perform basic accounting analysis, support audits, and maintain accounting data in a system, with preferred familiarity in revenue accounting, accounts payable, SAP FI/CO, SAP BI, and Coupa.
