Accountant Sr.

This role is responsible for plant accounting functions, including ownership of plant financial statements and variance analysis. The Senior Plant Controlling Accountant partners daily with operations and corporate teams to maintain accounting controls and deliver accurate reporting to management.

• Own plant P&L, Manufacturing Statement, and Balance Sheet accounts
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and annual close (including accruals and journal entries)
• Maintain sub-ledgers and perform monthly/quarterly/annual reconciliations
• Perform pre- and post-close variance analysis with root cause and corrective action
• Prepare monthly variance reporting packages, forecasts, budgets, and AFEs with payback calculations

The position focuses on financial close activities (accruals and journal entries), reconciliations, and recurring variance analysis across P&L, Manufacturing Statement, and Balance Sheet accounts. It also covers forecasting, operating expense and capital budgets, and AFE preparation with payback financial calculations.

The ideal candidate is a senior accounting professional focused on plant controlling and manufacturing accounting, with strong ownership of plant P&L, Manufacturing Statement, and Balance Sheet accounts. They have deep experience with close processes (month-end, quarter-end, annual), variance analysis (pre- and post-close), reconciliations, and preparation of forecasting, budgets, and AFEs with payback calculations.
