About this role
Accounting Intern supporting core corporate accounting functions in a remote setting. You will help with AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and budgeting tasks while learning from the Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare journal entries under supervision
- Support account reconciliations and related documentation
- Assist the team with the month end close process
- Provide support during internal and external audits
Technical Overview
Exposure to GAAP principles, Excel-based reporting, month-end close processes, and budgeting tasks in a remote, part-time internship.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate is an accounting student or early in their finance degree, comfortable with GAAP and advanced Excel, and available for up to 29 hours/week in a remote internship. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.
