Accounting Manager

Oversee all accounting functions for the plant, including month-end processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable. Maintain accounting policies, strengthen controls, and assist with internal and external audits while developing cost accounting and financial analysis capabilities.

• Oversee month end processes and prepare financial reports
• Compile and analyze financial information for journal entries
• Perform GL Account and Bank Reconciliation and maintain reconciliations
• Maintain Accounting Policy database and implement control procedures
• Assist with internal and external audits and perform financial analysis and cost accounting

Plant accounting leadership focused on close and reporting execution: journal entry preparation, GL and bank reconciliation, and financial statement production. Includes governance work—maintaining an accounting policy database, addressing control gaps, and supporting audits—with responsibilities spanning payroll and AP.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level Accounting Manager who has owned month-end processes, prepared financial reports, and completed GL and bank reconciliations. They should be capable of managing payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable while supporting internal and external audits and applying cost accounting and financial analysis skills.
