About this role
Acquisition Analyst to support DoD health IT initiatives, providing acquisition expertise, requirements development, and documentation across the acquisition lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acquisition analysis and advisory support across the acquisition lifecycle
- Lead/ support requirements capture and documentation for IT/ITSM and health IT capabilities
- Draft and coordinate acquisition documentation and briefings
- Support resource management including budget planning inputs and cost analysis
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align requirements and ensure traceability of requirements and risks

FAR/DFARS-driven processes; health IT program experience; ITSM and acquisition artifacts; strong written deliverables; clearance-driven roles.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior DoD health IT acquisitions expert with 15+ years of government procurement experience, strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, and proven ability to deliver acquisition packages and briefing materials to leadership.
Must-Have Skills
15+ years of experience supporting federal programs with emphasis on acquisition supportMaster’s degree or higher in a Health Care related fieldDemonstrated working knowledge of FAR and familiarity with DFARS and DoD procurement practicesExperience developing acquisition documentation and/or supporting acquisition packagesProven ability to engage across multidisciplinarymatrixed stakeholders and produce high-quality written deliverablesActive Secret clearance
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience supporting DHA/MHSNavy MedicineVAExperience with ITSMIT modernizationservice support consolidationor enterprise system transitionsFamiliarity with EHR programs (e.g.MHS GENESIS)ITIL-based service management understanding and ability to apply ITSM concepts to requirements and acquisition artifactsPMI-aligned program management training; PMP preferred if available
