Lead and evolve Pacific Life’s Economic and Capital Stress Testing frameworks that connect company strategy to day-to-day capital, liquidity, pricing, and resilience outcomes. Partner across stakeholders to ensure consistent framework application and provide executive-ready insights to senior risk audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of the Company's Capital Stress Testing Framework
- Support updates to the Economic Framework through cross-functional collaboration
- Perform thorough review of results associated with capital stress testing and economic capital, providing effective challenge
- Partner with 1st line teams to drive consistent application with documented standards of implementation
- Translate complexity into clear takeaways for senior audiences including the Enterprise Risk Committee
Technical Overview
This role focuses on financial risk management framework development and execution, including capital stress testing, economic framework methodology updates, review and challenge of results, and driving consistent implementation across global businesses and 1st line teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an actuarial risk leader who has deep experience building and maintaining capital stress testing frameworks and economic capital frameworks. They can partner across functions and effectively challenge results, translating complex risk concepts into clear guidance for senior committees such as the Enterprise Risk Committee.
