About this role

Actuary & Director leadership role for Pacific Life’s Enterprise Finance & Actuarial Projects team. You will act as product owner and accountable delivery lead for enterprise actuarial initiatives, driving implementation of reporting frameworks, methodologies, governance, and regulatory change impacts across internal and external reporting bases.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as product owner and accountable delivery lead across the enterprise actuarial project lifecycle; Translate actuarial and business requirements into clear execution plans across actuarial, finance, and technology partners; Drive consistent enterprise implementation of reporting frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory change impacts; Lead complex initiatives including actuarial reporting transformations and governance framework development; Manage prioritization, dependencies, risks, and communications with PMO and enterprise stakeholders for senior leadership updates

Technical Overview

The technical scope is actuarial transformation delivery rather than software engineering. You will lead enterprise-level implementation of actuarial business requirements, including reporting transformations, governance frameworks, and technical actuarial workstreams within large-scale cross-functional change programs, coordinated with PMO and technology/finance partners.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an FSA-designated actuary who has led complex, cross-functional enterprise finance and actuarial initiatives as a product owner and accountable delivery leader. They bring hands-on technical actuarial expertise to drive enterprise-wide reporting framework and methodology implementations, including governance development and large-scale actuarial workstreams executed with PMO and senior stakeholders.
