About this role
Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an Adobe Commerce Technical Architect to provide technical project oversight and architecture leadership for Magento/Adobe Commerce solutions. The role focuses on designing solutions and integrations, enforcing development best practices, performing quality reviews, and supporting key delivery events such as discovery, UAT, and site launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions and integrations
- Enforce Adobe Commerce development best practices
- Provide quality review and peer programming support
- Serve as technical escalation point for project team and clients
- Support delivery lifecycle (planning, release demos, UAT, site launch) and assist with PRs, code reviews, deployments
Technical Overview
You will architect and design Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions and integrations based on client requirements, and ensure deliveries align with development policies and standards. Responsibilities include supporting Pull Requests, code reviews, deployments, advising on UI/UX impacts for the frontend, and recommending integration and data impacts across frontend and backend.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level Adobe Commerce (Magento) architect with Adobe Certified Expert credentials and 5+ years of Adobe Commerce development experience. They have 3+ years delivering Adobe Commerce enterprise solutions, with strong solution architecture and integration design skills, and they actively lead technical reviews, code reviews, and deployments while partnering with client and engineering stakeholders.
