About this role

As an Advisor I, Credit - Commercial, you support sound commercial credit decisions by monitoring exposure, investigating aged debt, and recommending actions to maximize collections. You assess new counterparties and activity, prepare credit review insights, and partner cross-functionally to resolve credit and collection challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor credit exposure and apply established credit policies
Investigate aged debt and recommend actions to maximize collections
Assess new counterparties or activity and identify credit risk drivers
Prepare accurate credit review reports and insights
Partner across commercial, legal, accounting, and credit evaluation teams to support credit limits and collections

Technical Overview

The role focuses on credit risk workflows and operational credit processes using internal systems, with preferred proficiency in SAP. You will analyze credit exposure and aged debt, evaluate counterparty risk drivers, and produce accurate reporting and documentation to support credit reviews and limit recommendations.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is authorized to work and has at least 1 year of credit support experience in the energy industry, specifically in the power and natural gas sector. They monitor credit exposure, investigate aged debt, and partner across commercial and legal/accounting teams to support credit decisions, credit limits, and collections. They communicate clearly, apply established credit policies accurately, and can escalate policy exceptions when needed.
