About this role
This role drives Agile product management for a Core Systems Platform by defining the Program Backlog in business terms and ensuring epics are decomposed into deliverable features. The Sr. Advisor partners with Agile Release Trains, Experience Group Owners, and stakeholders to guide delivery, measure success criteria, and support readiness activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate epic delivery activities with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Experience Group Owners
- Steward epics to ensure defined success criteria is realized
- Define epics and benefits, establish Cost of Delay (CoD), identify sponsors, and own epic acceptance
- Size epics and provide input to economic prioritization using Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF)
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and demos when critical to the epic

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Agile Product professional with 7+ years of experience in a Healthcare environment, partnering closely with technology teams to define and deliver epics. They are strong in Agile Release Train (ART) execution, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and using Cost of Delay (CoD) and Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) for prioritization while managing risks and dependencies across a portfolio.
