About this role
Lead Agricultural/4-H Extension programming for Los Alamos County focusing on horticulture and 4-H youth development; manages Master Gardener program, develops community partnerships, and delivers high-impact educational programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Los Alamos County Extension Office efforts in horticulture and oversee Master Gardener program and policy work
- Lead LA County 4-H Youth Development Program in Ag and Natural Resources
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer adult and youth leaders
- Collaborate with Extension Agents, State Extension Specialist, Northern District Department Head, and outside agencies
- Develop and deliver high-impact educational programs in urban/suburban ornamental landscapes, fruit/vegetable production, and native landscaping

Ideal Candidate
