Accenture seeks an AI Cloud Native Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy enterprise-ready AI agents. The role partners with clients to prototype, run, and improve agentic workflows using cloud-native architectures and strong observability and evaluation practices.

  • Design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, routing, tool invocation, evaluation, and lifecycle observability
  • Develop abstraction layers across AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI)
  • Build scalable systems using containerization, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures
  • Prototype and deploy agentic workflows with robust security and operational readiness
  • Define metrics for agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost effectiveness

Technical Overview

This role focuses on building agentic systems with retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, and evaluation harnesses, with lifecycle observability. The candidate will use abstraction layers across AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI) and deploy solutions using containerization, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures, while tracking accuracy, latency, safety, and cost metrics.

The ideal candidate is an AI Native Engineer who has built cloud-native solutions and designed/deployed enterprise agentic systems using retrieval, orchestration, tool invocation, and evaluation harnesses. They are comfortable working in hybrid environments, partnering with stakeholders to prototype and deploy secure AI agents, and measuring performance using accuracy, latency, safety, and cost metrics.
