About this role

Actian seeks an AI Engineering Intern to support design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications. You will work with experienced engineers to build production-quality software integrating ML models into real-world products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain software components that integrate AI/ML models into applications, APIs, and internal tools
Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements
Build and improve data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and evaluation frameworks
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack

Technical Overview

The role includes implementing AI/ML components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and evaluation frameworks using Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript across AWS, GCP, or Azure with Docker.

Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidates are current STEM students pursuing a degree, with exposure to Python/AI concepts, curiosity about deploying ML models, and interest in hands-on, production-like projects across AWS/GCP/Azure and Docker.
