About this role

Scale AI is seeking an AI Product Manager to own a data vertical focused on Agent & Reinforcement Learning Environments, managing the product roadmap, data pipelines, and researcher-facing tools. You will collaborate with labs and customers to drive data-as-a-product outcomes and influence internal and external roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for the Agent & RL Environment Data vertical
Design, experiment with, and deliver high-quality data pipelines, tooling, and evaluation frameworks for RL and agentic model capabilities
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams
Build technical partnerships with research teams at leading AI labs
Scope out and scale the creation of RL environments that simulate real-world use cases

Technical Overview

The role requires a software engineering background with deep understanding of reinforcement learning, simulation environments, and data pipelines for model training and evaluation. You will own data pipelines and evaluation frameworks, and work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and GTM teams to scale RL data products.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior product manager with 6+ years in product management or customer-facing roles, a software engineering background, and deep experience with reinforcement learning, data pipelines, and RL environments. They excel at cross-functional collaboration, translating technical requirements into concrete product roadmaps, and driving data-as-a-product initiatives for Scale AI's Agent & RL Environment data vertical.
