About this role
Lead enterprise AI strategy and deployment for Orthopedics supply chain (DePuy Synthes); shape the technical vision, governance, and lifecycle management of AI initiatives from data ingestion to production deployment across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with crossfunctional leaders to define enterprise AI strategy
- Lead build-vs-buy analyses for AI solutions
- Own end-to-end lifecycle for AI initiatives
- Establish AI governance, MLOps, LLMOps, and observability
- Design evaluation methodologies for GenAI and Agentic AI
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes Python/SQL, Databricks, LangChain, and Azure AI stack (Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search) with vector databases (pgvector, Cosmos DB). Emphasis on governance, MLOps/LLMOps, and GenAI/Agentic AI delivery.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior AI/ML leader with 6+ years of experience delivering enterprise AI applications. They should be proficient in Python and SQL, have hands-on experience with the Azure AI stack (Machine Learning, OpenAI, Cognitive Search), and possess deep knowledge of Agentic AI, LangChain, RLHF, and MLOps. The candidate will lead cross-functional partnerships across supply chain and MedTech functions and drive governance and scalable AI solutions.
