Prolific is inviting Neuroscience Specialists to join a remote advisory expert talent pool. The work focuses on auditing neuroscience papers and validating whether LLM-generated graphical abstracts accurately represent the underlying science.
Key Responsibilities
- Review neuroscience papers and corresponding LLM-generated graphical abstracts
- Check and identify issues where graphical abstracts do not accurately represent the scientific paper
- Improve cutting-edge AI models through expert validation
- Complete paid tasks requiring up to one hour of uninterrupted focus
- Provide verifiable professional background for the expert talent pool
Technical Overview
You will review neuroscience research and compare the paper’s content to an LLM-generated graphical abstract, identifying mismatches or inaccuracies. The role centers on quality control for LLM outputs in the neuroscience domain rather than building models.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Neuroscience Specialist with deep neuroscience expertise and a Masters Degree or higher in a related field. They have experience performing fact checking and/or AI-related review work, and can reliably audit LLM-generated graphical abstracts against neuroscience papers with strong attention to detail. They also maintain a verifiable LinkedIn presence or professional history and can complete tasks with up to one hour of uninterrupted focus.
