About this role
This role is an analyst-level position in State Street Global Services’ Structured Trust and Analytics group focused on structured finance operations. The officer manages client relationships, onboard deals, trains teams on deal mechanics, and oversees key client deliverables including reporting and payment calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and generate new business leads
- Onboard new deals per company and group procedures
- Oversee client deliverables including hypothetical trade tests, monthly/quarterly reporting, payment date calculations, and distributions
- Interpret legal documentation (Indentures, Credit Agreements, Offering Memorandums) and translate into Excel-based models
- Collaborate with internal groups and lead new initiatives and special projects
Technical Overview
The work involves building Excel-based models to evaluate tests and parameters referenced in legal documents (Indentures, Credit Agreements, Offering Memorandums) and handling structured finance transaction workflows. The role also requires using operational systems such as Wall Street Office, CDO Suite, LoanOps Portal, My State Street, Bloomberg, and LS Fax, and producing monthly and quarterly reporting with payment date calculations and distributions.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an analyst-level professional in structured finance and alternative investment operations who can manage client relationships, onboard deals, and produce monthly/quarterly reporting. They will be highly detail-oriented, able to build Excel-based models for legal-document-driven tests, and comfortable interpreting Indentures, Credit Agreements, and Offering Memorandums while using platforms such as Bloomberg and Wall Street Office.
