About this role
Analyst in Accounting Services supporting accurate financial data, month/quarter/year-end close, and audit preparation for a global mining company.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation and assumptions
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Perform basic financial statement analysis
- Complete monthly General Ledger reconciliations
- Review transactions for accuracy and compliance
Technical Overview
Accounting focus with GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and use of SAP or Oracle Hyperion; strong Microsoft Office skills for reporting and documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a finance/accounting professional with a solid GAAP foundation capable of managing month-end/quarter-end/year-end close, reconciling the general ledger, and supporting internal and external audits. Experience with SAP or Oracle Hyperion and strong Microsoft Office skills are highly valued.
