About this role

Support the Global and LatAm Economics teams in analyzing, forecasting, and communicating house views. Work with large datasets, run macro models, assist senior economists on research projects, maintain databases, compile daily/weekly reports, and prepare daily briefings on relevant economic news.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write regular reports on economic events and their market implications
  • Prepare daily briefings based on relevant economic news
  • Partner with Senior Analysts to produce thematic research
  • Create and update presentation materials for client meetings and events
  • Respond to questions/requests from internal stakeholders and external clients

Technical Overview

Macro modeling and econometrics; data management; forecasting macro variables; use of MS Excel for analysis; ability to present complex macro topics in Spanish; data-driven research.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-entry level economist with strong econometrics and data analysis skills, 1-2 years of experience, proficient in MS Excel, and capable of communicating macro topics in Spanish (C1+). They will support Global and LatAm economics research and produce daily briefings and thematic research.
