About this role

The Analyst III supports Vistra’s Retail Energy workstreams by analyzing and improving business processes, defining customer experience improvements, and establishing reporting mechanisms. The role also manages and integrates operational processes and ensures smooth transitions through effective change management.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain methodologies for on-going integration of processes
Design measurement criteria for integration monitoring
Implement and manage an effective change management process
Identify process improvements to enhance Retail Energy effectiveness and efficiency
Analyze customer feedback and prioritize business proposals for operational viability

Technical Overview

This role is centered on business process analysis and reporting rather than software engineering. The candidate uses tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau, leverages MS Office, and applies analytical techniques including root cause analysis and process-flow development.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an Analyst III with 3-5+ years of experience improving retail energy business processes and delivering structured reporting. They have strong analytical skills (including root cause analysis), are skilled with Power BI and/or Tableau, and can run effective change management to transition new or adapted processes.
