About this role
Analyst, Strategy helps Ross continue to support its overall strategy by conducting cross-functional analyses and building data-driven insights for executives. The role interfaces with Merchandising, Planning, HR, Operations, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate analysis for cross-functional initiatives
- Perform data analysis to support strategic priorities
- Develop materials to communicate results (Board meetings, Buyer meetings)
- Analyze business problems and develop root causes and improvements
- Provide ad hoc business and competitive intelligence
Technical Overview
Requires strong data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build models and present results to executives; exposure to financial, statistical, and economic concepts.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a data-driven strategy analyst with 2-3 years post-college analytics experience, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and ability to communicate insights to executives. They should be comfortable collaborating with Merchants, Planners and other functions across New York and Dublin teams.
