About this role

Flock Safety is hiring a remote Analytics Engineer to own end-to-end analytics solutions, from data architecture to data visualization. The role focuses on streamlining a single source of truth for business insights within an analytics as code environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end analytics solutions from definition to data architecture to data visualization
Build analytics as code single source of truth insights
Implement data modeling best practices in an enterprise data warehouse
Develop business intelligence and reporting solutions (Sigma a plus)
Partner with Revenue, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams, including potential Salesforce experience

Technical Overview

You will design analytics solutions using strong SQL skills and implement data modeling best practices in an enterprise data warehouse. The stack includes dbt and Git, with optional/bonus experience in Amazon Redshift and Sigma, plus stakeholder integration with Salesforce-related business teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an Analytics Engineer with 5+ years of experience building analytics solutions end-to-end, including data architecture and reporting. They are strong in SQL and have experience with enterprise data warehouses, data modeling best practices, and modern analytics tooling such as dbt and Git. They can translate business needs into analytics as code and are comfortable working with stakeholders across Revenue, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance.
