About this role

Analytics Product Engineer on Travelers’ Data Products team builds enterprise data pipelines and data products, owning backlog and delivering scalable solutions leveraging Python, SQL, Databricks, and AWS with GenAI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Define and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap for our Analytics Data Products
Act as the voice of business stakeholders and analytics consumers
Design and build data models and scalable transformation pipelines
Document data lineage and upstream/downstream dependencies
Collaborate with IT, Data Platform, and business groups to meet real-world needs

Technical Overview

Data engineering and product ownership with Python, SQL, Databricks on AWS; GenAI-enabled data products; emphasis on data governance and pipeline reliability.

Ideal Candidate

Senior analytics product engineer with 6+ years in data engineering and product ownership, strong Python/SQL skills, and hands-on AWS/Databricks experience. Experienced in building scalable data pipelines and data products with governance and GenAI capabilities.
