About this role
This role is for an API 570/Certified Welding Inspector to perform field interface and piping inspection work. Responsibilities include verification, marking excavation/UTT/RT areas, redlining P&IDs, taking documentation photos, and producing detailed inspection reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Field verifications of interfaces on inspection ISOs
- Mark/Paint excavation areas in the field
- Sketch new and redline inspection ISOs
- Follow, interpret, and redline P&IDs
- Document inspection findings in reports with photos
Technical Overview
The inspection scope covers inspection ISOs sketching/redlining, P&IDs interpretation and redlining, identification of UTT areas for thickness readings and RT areas for profile piping, and interpretation of visual inspection findings and NDE performed. Additional support may include PCMS data entry, data analysis, and scrubbing piping data files.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an API 570 certified professional with current Certified Welding Inspector credentials. They have strong field inspection experience for interfaces, P&IDs redlining/sketching, and documenting visual inspection and NDE outcomes, with a safety-first mindset.
