About this role
Lead the Insights & Prompt Generation vertical for Sponsored Prompts within Amazon Ads’ Sponsored Products and Brands team. You will manage applied scientists and engineers, build and scale a prompt generation pipeline, and drive quality, personalization, coverage, and experimentation to improve CTR, helpfulness, and advertiser outcomes.

Technical Overview
Technical leadership in NLP and large language models (LLMs) with strong grounding in information retrieval and analytics. Responsible for defining prompt effectiveness metrics, running experimentation, and guiding a science roadmap that translates into measurable advertising performance improvements.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior applied science leader with 4+ years of applied research experience and 3+ years managing scientists or machine learning engineers. They have strong technical depth in NLP, large language models (LLMs), information retrieval, and analytics, and they can lead prompt generation for conversational advertising while driving experimentation tied to CTR, helpfulness, and advertiser outcomes.
