Applied Scientist II for Prime Video Personalization and Discovery Science, developing ML models and experiments to improve recommendations and search across Prime Video surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop ML models for recommendation & search systems
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers and product managers to expand product insights
- Stay updated with modeling techniques and publish findings
Technical Overview
Hands-on ML with Java/C++/Python; experience with deep learning, foundation models, and ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorRT); focus on scalable, high-performance computing and online inference.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced applied scientist with 3+ years building ML solutions, strong programming in Java/C++/Python, and hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX). They should have a track record delivering large-scale ML systems for personalization or ads and be capable of collaborating with product and engineering teams.
