About this role
Applied Scientist III in Alexa Sensitive Content Intelligence focuses on building Responsible AI and AI safety systems at scale, across modalities, to ensure safe, trustworthy conversations in Alexa.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect Responsible AI solutions; lead advancement of AI safety; develop evaluation frameworks to detect vulnerabilities; mentor junior scientists; collaborate with engineers to deploy production-safe ML systems
Technical Overview
Deeper ML scope includes GenAI, large language models, distributed systems, and production-grade ML pipelines; leadership and cross-functional collaboration to deploy advanced ML solutions in a responsible manner.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior applied scientist with a PhD or Master’s degree and 6+ years of applied research, strong ML capabilities in computer vision and multimodal systems, and experience moving AI safety and responsible AI initiatives into production at scale.
