This position operates within Collateral Risk Management (CRM) and focuses on alternative valuation products such as Property Data Reports (PDR), Property Data Collect products (PDC), Hybrid appraisals, and Desktop appraisals. The analyst assesses collateral documentation against bank collateral policy, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines, and regulatory guidance, then documents defensible Accept/Condition/Escalate decisions based on risk profile and loan purpose.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an Appraisal Analyst II with 2-4 years of experience performing collateral risk reviews and valuation review within mortgage underwriting. They are strong in alternative collateral products (PDR/PDC, hybrid and desktop appraisals), understand Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac eligibility requirements, and can render defensible Accept/Condition/Escalate decisions aligned to bank collateral policy and risk appetite.
