About this role

Platform architect responsible for defining platform architecture, guardrails, and trade-offs to ensure secure, scalable cloud platforms; drive ADRs and reference architectures; collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Define and evolve platform architecture, including service boundaries, integration patterns, and data flows
Establish architectural guardrails and performance targets
Drive ADRs and reference architectures
Partner with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams
Promote asynchronous architectural reviews

Technical Overview

Strong AWS focus with IaC (Terraform/Chef/Packer), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), observability tooling (Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior cloud architect with 5+ years designing distributed, cloud-based platforms on AWS, strong IaC and CI/CD experience, and a track record of implementing robust observability and multi-region architectures.
