About this role
Area Manager II leads a team of hourly workers to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time delivery across area workflows. This role collaborates with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans
- Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours
- Lead and develop a team toward performance objectives
