About this role
Area Manager II leads hourly staff at Amazon delivery stations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role includes mentoring teams, coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to meet objectives, and performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
