About this role
Area Manager II leads an hourly workforce in Amazon's operations network, focusing on safety, quality, attendance, and delivery performance. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and supports multiple workflow components across First, Middle, and Last mile operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources
- Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts
- Work in variable temperatures and weather; stairs as applicable
