About this role
Drive revenue growth in the New England territory by selling histology and histopathology laboratory services to biotech, pharmaceutical, academic, and biomedical research organizations. The role requires proactive prospecting (including cold outreach and in-person meetings), consistent pipeline management, and strong customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase territory sales by identifying and contacting potential clients via email outreach and cold prospecting
- Present services, negotiate service agreements, and close deals
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve quarterly and annual territory sales goals
- Upsell additional services to increase account value and project scope
- Represent the company at trade shows and scientific conferences and prepare sales reporting
Technical Overview
This is a technical sales role centered on scientific lab service offerings, including special stains, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence, multi-omics tissue analysis, quantitative image analysis, and pathology consultations.
