About this role
Assembly Board Engineer responsible for defining plant equipment and tooling needs, supporting engineering changes, and ensuring acquisition, installation, and validation of assembly tooling and equipment according to startup schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead installation, validation and continuous improvement on assembly line components
- Equipment ordering and supplier management
- Transfer of equipment between Lear plants
- Develop tooling for manufacturing process
- Manage plant layout and continuous improvement
Technical Overview
Strong wiring experience on assembly lines; proficient in English and French; responsible for equipment transfer and tool development for manufacturing processes.
Ideal Candidate
A mid-level manufacturing engineer with a Bac+5 degree and 5 years of wiring experience, strong assembly line process knowledge, and bilingual English/French skills. Capable of leading tooling installation, equipment validation, and continuous improvement initiatives in a Moroccan automotive plant.
