About this role
Assistant Finance Controller supports the Tempe manufacturing site’s financial control, reporting, and analysis for device manufacturing operations. The role oversees forecasting/reporting cycles, supports annual standards setting, maintains robust internal controls, and supports plant audits, while partnering with leadership on cost improvement and capital investment business cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide forecasting and reporting cycles (month-end actual reporting, LBE forecasting, LRP and Plan development)
- Oversee annual standards setting process and cost change impact summaries
- Partner with leadership on financial impact of decisions and cost improvement opportunities
- Lead/support business case development for capital investments and third party manufacturing arrangements
- Maintain a robust internal control environment and support internal/external plant audits
Technical Overview
Focuses on manufacturing finance activities including cost allocation and month-end actual reporting, plus LBE forecasting and LRP/Plan development. Maintains internal control compliance and supports audit readiness; experience with SAP and HFM is preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an accounting professional with 7+ years of related accounting experience, including at least some manufacturing finance exposure, and strong attention to detail. They can support forecasting and reporting cycles (month-end actual reporting, LBE forecasting, LRP/Plan development), maintain a robust internal control environment, and work with SAP and HFM.
Must-Have Skills
