About this role
AECOM is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support overall project administration for construction projects in San Francisco, CA. The role assists with project objectives and policies, client interface, budget/schedule tracking, change orders, and financial reporting while coordinating with BIM/modeling teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports overall management administration to project
- Assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies
- Monitors change orders and reviews financial reporting
- Reviews project costs and scheduling to ensure completion within budget and contract requirements
- Works with document control systems and project management systems; attends meetings and reports on project tasks as needed
Technical Overview
The role involves supporting project delivery using BIM (Building Information Modeling) and modeling software, along with document control systems and project management systems/databases to keep project information accurate and current. Responsibilities also include reviewing costs and schedules and supporting change order monitoring and financial reporting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level assistant project manager with a BA/BS and 2+ years of relevant experience supporting construction project delivery. They can help manage project administration, coordinate with clients, track change orders, and review project financial reporting, costs, and scheduling while collaborating with BIM/modeling teams.
