About this role
Assistant Store Manager will manage and supervise assigned areas of store operations, ensuring Company standards and best practices are consistently met. In the absence of the Store Manager, they lead the entire store operation while handling scheduling, payroll administration, associate development, and expense control.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Company Best Practices and maximize productivity by minimizing steps and touches while working
- Assist in analysis of Store reports for controllable expenses and store performance
- Ensure proper scheduling and completion of Associate cleaning tasks
- Recruit, hire, train and develop non-exempt Associates
- Responsible for payroll administration including daily punch edits, Sunday payroll transmission, and Payroll reporting as needed

This role is non-technical but involves operational reporting analysis, scheduling, and payroll administration processes. It emphasizes productivity execution, compliance, and internal store controls through daily operational oversight.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced retail operations leader who can manage day-to-day store performance and step in for the Store Manager when needed. They have strong payroll and scheduling experience, the ability to recruit and train non-exempt associates, and a track record of driving productivity while maintaining compliance with State, Local and Federal regulations.
