About this role
Assistant Stylist is a temporary role designed to prepare talent for a Stylist position, with mentoring for the first months and eventual guest service responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with guest consultations and service delivery under mentorship
- Support mentor stylist in meeting sales/productivity goals
- After months 4-6, begin servicing guests with hair design/color and makeup as learned
- Perform product demonstrations to support sales
- Maintain shop safety and sanitation standards
Technical Overview
No software stack; uses Ulta Beauty's booking system and adherence to sanitation/state board guidelines
Ideal Candidate
An entry-level assistant stylist with a Cosmetology license, eager to learn under a mentor stylist and begin serving guests after initial training.
