About this role
This role provides analytical schedule support for Project Controls Schedulers, Senior Project Controls Schedulers, Project Managers, and leadership. The associate will develop and analyze detailed critical path schedules, workload and resource forecasts, and help support earned value reporting and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and revise schedules from estimates, diagrams, or scope of work
- Develop and report earned value indicators (CPI, SPI)
- Update standard schedule templates for projects and programs
- Identify milestones and schedule issues early and support resolutions
- Assist with project closeout process and reporting for closeout issues
Technical Overview
Work focuses on scheduling and project controls using tools including Primavera P6, Project View (ComEd and PECO), Hyperion System, Asset Suite 8, Microsoft Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Project, and uPPM. The associate also supports earned value reporting using CPI and SPI and ensures schedules are properly baselined at phase approvals.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level scheduler/Project Controls professional who can support development and updates of detailed project schedules and milestone reporting. They have hands-on familiarity with Primavera P6 and earned value concepts (CPI and SPI), and can analyze critical path schedules, workload/resource forecasts, and support project closeout activities.
