About this role
Keeper is hiring a driven SLED-focused Associate Account Manager to grow revenue within public sector (state, local, and higher education) accounts. The role includes managing a quota, building relationships with senior leadership and C-level contacts, and handling renewals plus cross-sells and upsells through SLED procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry a revenue quota to meet or exceed sales targets
- Build relationships with senior management and C-level contacts with support
- Negotiate contract renewals, cross-sells and upsells
- Establish business and technical goals via technical and Quarterly Business Reviews
- Navigate SLED procurement processes including RFP/RFI responses, contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing agreements, and compliance requirements
Technical Overview
This is a cybersecurity software sales role centered on Keeper’s zero-trust and zero-knowledge platform, including KeeperPAM® (Privileged Access Management). Technical scope is mainly in supporting sales motions with business and technical goals via Quarterly Business Reviews and navigating procurement requirements such as RFP/RFI responses and contract vehicles.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level (or early-career) B2B sales professional focused on SLED (state, local, and higher education) who can manage a revenue quota and grow named accounts. They are comfortable engaging senior management and C-level contacts, handling renewals plus cross-sells and upsells, and navigating SLED procurement steps like RFP/RFI responses, contract vehicles, and cooperative purchasing agreements.
